Chesley was exposed to music at a very young age by watching and listening to his brother’s band practice in the basement of their home. As he got older, his love for music grew and he took piano lessons, then later switched to guitar.  A friend encouraged him to send a demo tape to an independent record label in Nashville, Tennessee. To their surprise, the tape actually caught the attention of a record label executive who contacted Chesley and invited him to Nashville for a meeting and recording session.

In 2006, Chesley auditioned for Season 4 of USA Network’s “Nashville Star".  Chesley had a family to raise, so he put his music on hold and played occasionally at local events.  The kids are raised and Chesley is back to creating music and performing publicly.  Check out Chesley's tour schedule at:  http://www.chesleyholt.com/tour
