This all leather guitar strap started out with naked leather which we treated with our top-secret softening system and dyed red.  We then painted the strap black and beveled the edges to "frame" the strap with red.

The strap was then topped with hand-cut kidskin overlays, layered to give depth.  The images feature a "Blue Dog" (a replica of George Rodrigue's work, the owners favorite artist), and piano keys since he plays piano as well.  He makes wine and loves his Porsche, so we added the Porsche logo to a wine glass and tossed in a bunch of grapes. To finish off the strap, we added another love of his, a Harley Davidson logo.

All of the embellishments are created with kidskin, even the shading on the blue dog!
