Our "Stained Glass" guitar strap starts out with a "naked" piece of leather which is hand-cut to 2.5" wide.  We dye the leather and hand paint it contrasting colors, then bevel the edges to "frame" the painted color all the way around the strap.  We then add 3 layers of different colored snakeskin and outline the snakeskin by hand punching and adding our own oxidized nailheads.  The entire strap is then hand punched and embellished with oxidized nailheads and genuine gemstones.  We back the strap with high quality suede and stitch the front to the back.  We then add more oxidized embellishments in the form of eyelets up the entire length of the strap, front and back.  This all leather guitar strap can be personalized with an initial or two as well.  For this one, we used chocolate brown, cream and black snakeskin, blackened nickel hardware and genuine turquoise gemstones.
