This custom guitar strap is a real beauty!  We started with belt leather, dyed it gold, painted it black, then beveled the edges to "frame" the black with gold.  We then cut out the designs on the front and back of the strap and beveled those edges as well.  We cut kidskin strips in black and white and wove them together as underlays inside the cut-outs, and centered them with nickel silver conchos.  Chad's name was cut from kidskin and sewn to the front of the strap.
